Business Analysts

Business analysts are the people whose specialty lies on the analysis of all the possible needs of both the stakeholders and the clients that regards to the development and advancement of a company. It is also their job to delegate the solutions to these business problems identified.
Business analyst jobs became more abundant nowadays with the introduction of the ERP system. ERP means Enterprise Resource Planning and it is the procedure wherein an organization's processes and data are integrated into a more unified system. An ERP system makes use of both computer hardware and software so as to attain such integration.

A business analyst's main job within an ERP system is to spot a particular company's issue and implement a certain ERP system to it that will effectively solve the problem. The ERP system selected should be something that can be easily adapted by the company in general. It could be a system that's already working or a system that is yet to be developed. And following the same idea, the solution could be a just part of an existing system or the entirety of it.

A business analyst's job is very critical, especially with the ERP system in place. These people have the capacity to modify a certain ERP model so as to make it usable by the business. But then again, if the analysts are misinformed about the business' goals and the model's objectives, then the whole system may either ruin a business or deter its improvement for several years or so. This only goes to show that every individual aspiring to assume this position has to carry a valid business analyst certification under his wing.
