The leader in supplying Automotive fasteners and springs supplier, Piolax has announced its decision to go for a full fledged ERP software for its business operations. In an official statement the company revealed that they have chosen Sysco ERP for the above said purpose. The idea behind the whole plan is to ensure that there is optimal utilization of resources. It basically ensured two aspects simultaneously. Firstly it make sure that there wont be any flaw in the process and secondly it will also make sure that everything will be carried out within the given time frame.

The new system K3 makes use of a unique and comprehensive solution. This is achieved by making a perfect blend of machines tools and works. This can be achieved with the help of a wireless bar-coding system. As a result Piolax gets the advantage of real-time recording of stock movements. The company is of the opinion that it will enable them to achieve performance to the tune of 98 %. Similarly the deliverables will be beyond the expectations. The idea is to make the way for proofing in the future in light of the proposal to expand its warehouse capacity.

The actual fact is that Piolax happens to be one among those who had implemented wireless bar-coding at a very early stage. However as days progressed they had found that their current IT potential was not to the mark and only added to the woes. This led to lot of procedural delays and as well as created loss in many manners.

The financial director of the company Duncan Cornwall revealed that this was chosen from a list of five packages. This package was chosen as it comprised of a single unit unlike the others and the firm immediately stuck the opportunity.

The company has also chosen K3's Document Flow Manager to make use of it for streamlining weakly orders. Piolax has also expressed confidence that this will also help them in a great manner. The company proposes to introduce this only from the end of this financial year. Till then the existing setup will remain undisturbed.
