ERP Accessories

There are many elements that go in hand with the functioning of ERP. Each individual element is referred as an ERP accessory.

As told earlier the success of ERP is dependent on several factors. Each factor or commodity that is otherwise known as ERP accessory should work in synergy for optimal results. The accessory need not necessarily be a physical object. Even data or information that is crucial in the functioning of ERP and which are largely or partially a part of the process itself becomes an accessory. The failure of one or more accessory disrupts the entire process. Therefore companies test them repeatedly individually and as well as collectively to ensure that the operations will take place in a smooth manner.

ERP accessories are not only instrumental in the functioning of ERP but also important in increasing the efficiency and output. In a manufacturing setup ERP is generally a part of supply chain and logistics. Only when Software programs track the status of good properly it will be proper to provide proper information about them to the customer. There might be other aspects that may help in this directly or indirectly and therefore each aspect is referred as an accessory.
